Zeitwinkel model 273° Saphir Fumé featured by Worn & Wound

In January of 2025, Zach Kazan wrote an article about our model 273° Saphir Fumé for Worn & Wound. He not only captured the essence of what Zeitwinkel is about. He did so from the perspective of the owner of a Zeitwinkel watch.

Zach had purchased his watch from one of our partners and – in the spirit of full disclosure – has not received any special conditions from us. We had however met with him several months earlier at one of the many events in Geneva and shown him a selection of our watches.

What we liked about Zach’s account is that he could have chosen any watch from one of the countless other brands, but that he really looked at how a Zeitwinkel watch is made and why we make it that way.

“It’s refreshing, though, that the team at Zeitwinkel seems to have an understanding that a good watch is a good watch, and that reintroducing endless variants with splashy campaigns might have diminishing returns. There are other examples where the Zeitwinkel philosophy lines up with my own way of thinking about watchmaking…”
